Hello, my name is Fiona and I work predominately in graphite & pen/ink. I have been illustrating for 23 years and
while at art college in 1982 i found i had a talent for black and white photorealism. My speciality is in the equine field, but i have done commissions of both people and household pets, all that is required is a crisp clear photograph of the subject.

The attention to detail in my portraits is evident in both graphite and ink, with the challenge of getting the shading and expressions right the utmost importance.
My Pen/Ink portraits are renderred in the stippling effect, that is, using lots of dots to gain the required effect. This allows for very detailed portraits which make them very time consuming, but the end result speaks for itself.
